LOVE SICK

The lambs are coming…
They are lovesick...
They also live in Lombardi…

a quirky, modern, and bafflingly funny take on the olden-tymes theatre of "commedia dell'arte." (Don't know what commedia dell’arte is? All you need to know is it's Italian. And who doesn't love Italy?)

Under the direction of Dora Mavor Moore-award winner Sue Miner, this ensemble of Toronto's best up-and-coming actors and performers brings together the absurd residents of Alto-Lombardi and Bassa-Lombardi as they prepare to compete in the annual Festival of the Lambs.

Sounds pretty silly, eh?

them
down
anyway)

Q: I'm confused...?
A: Great, so are we!
Q: a. What? b. When? c. Where? d. Why?
a. It's a play!
b. March 24 to 29th, 2026.

d. Pshaw! Pshaw! The better question is "why not"!
Q: Who is this for?
A: We don't turn away anyone who wants to see the show, but we recommend it for ages 10+. It's PG-rated!
Q: No, seriously: who is this for?
A: Oh, you mean in a rhetorical sense? I don't know, I guess for the... uh... agnuphiles* in the audience?
*agnuphile: lamb lover (etym. Latin, agnus- [lamb] + -phila [love])
Q: How long is the show? (Please don't let it be long).
A: 8 hours with five intermissions spread over two days. Nah, just kidding. Can you imagine?
75 minutes, no intermission.
Q: How much are tickets?
A: Tickets are on a sliding scale from $27 to $50. We are proud to say that 100% of all ticket proceeds go directly to the artists involved in the production. Support local artists! Come see the show! Have a laugh!
